The Joybook R55 features a SATA 5400rpm Hard Disk Drive that offers higher transfer rates and better data security. Also equipped with Bluetooth v2.0 EDR*, enhanced data transfer rate of 3Mbps and reduced power consumption is provided. With BenQ's new QDataTrove, you need only press the F10 key to initiate a thorough data backup. It also allows you an easy way of restoring the system's factory default settings and perform scheduled backups of system files. QDataTrove's thoughtful "Restore from Backup" feature lets you select any data you wish to retrieve.

The World's Fastest Response Time
At 16 millisecond (ms), the R55's display has the fastest response time. The response time of most notebook displays is about 25ms, and the adverse effects of this relatively long interval can be noticed during playback of DVDs or when playing games that require quick scene changes. At 16ms, the R55's display performance is comparable to that of CRT monitors. It effectively eliminates ghosting from fast-moving objects and renders extra-sharp motion images.

BenQ is committed to creating a keyboard that uniquely suits each Joybook model, and the Joybook R55 series is no exception. It is equipped with a full-sized keyboard, with key pitch that has actually been enlarged to 19.05mm in width (bigger than those on a standard desktop keyboard). And to ensure the most comfortable typing, BenQ has specially adjusted the "touch" of the keys.
